This is a weekly event on the Sellwood Bridge in Portland, Oregon. Our goal is to encourage our community to stay engaged and to use our voices and First Amendment rights to protest any erosion of our Constitutional freedoms or functioning government. We gather between 5:30-6:00 and usually stay about an hour. Last week we had 93 participants. We’d like everyone including cyclists and pedestrians to be able to continue their commute, so we appreciate your help keeping the pedestrian/bike lane closest to the railing clear (we’ll use the half of the sidewalk closest to traffic so people can read signs). We also thank you for your peaceful protesting and kid-friendly signs.
