  • Workers over Billionaires

The billionaires continue to wage a cruel war on working people, with their cronies in the administration, ICE and law enforcement backing up their attacks. This Labor Day we will continue to stand strong, fighting for public schools over private profits, healthcare over hedge funds, shared prosperity over corporate politics.

Working people built this nation and we know how to take care of each other. We won’t back down—we will never stop fighting for our families and the rights and freedoms that ensure access to opportunity and a better life for all Americans. The billionaire’s time is up.

On September 1st we will continue the movement we launched together on May 1st, standing in solidarity with all our communities under attack and fighting for real wins for all our people.

In thousands of communities around the country we encourage you to take a stand with us on Labor Day. On the streets, outside the offices of the corporate criminals who are behind the attacks on our freedoms and at congressional offices. Together we will demand a world that works for all of us.

OUR DEMANDS TO BUILD THE SOCIETY WE ALL DESERVE:

Stop the billionaire takeover and rampant corruption of the Trump administration.

Protect and defend Medicaid, Social Security, and other programs for working people.

Fully funded schools, and healthcare and housing for all.

Stop the attacks on immigrants, Black, indigenous, trans people, and all our communities.

    Invest in people not wars.

Please note: A core principle behind all our events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.

  • Labor Day Caravan

We will caravan from DTLB to Banning Park for the Labor Coalition Picnic/Rally
The current administration is trying to eliminate worker’s rights and decimate the ability to collectively bargain. Hundreds of executive orders have been signed that are aimed exclusively at destroying our democracy and violating human rights. Trade tariffs have been drastically increased, which has been the cause of our severe port traffic slowdown. These strategically planned executive orders were signed in the first 100 days after inauguration day. We will not stop fighting injustice. #laborday #UnionStrong #workers

  • 50501 Rage Against the Regime

Let’s turn our RAGE into potent, HEALTHY action and say NO to authoritarianism and greedy rule by evil men.

Rage Against the Regime is a national day of nonviolent action to respond to the attacks posed on our civil and human rights by the Trump administration and to remind them that in America, the power lies with the people.

We’re fed up with the corruption, the cruelty, the erosion of rights. This is about showing up for each other, standing up for what’s right, and refusing to let fear or apathy win. However you show up at a protest, with a sign in your yard, or by sharing online, you’re part of something important.

    The 3.5% Rule:
A Tiny Percent. A Massive Impact.
You are the power.

Researchers Erica Chenoweth and Maria J. Stephan found something remarkable: when just 3.5% of a population takes part in sustained, nonviolent protest, the movement almost always wins.

That kind of change doesn’t come from one big moment. It comes from ordinary people showing up—again and again—with courage, with hope, and with each other.

That’s why our rallies matter. That’s why your presence matters. We’re not just inviting people—we’re counting on them. Because every person adds weight. Every sign, every chant, every step taken together—it all adds up to power.

    You’re not alone.
You’re not too small.
You’re part of the tipping point. We are. Together.

If you cannot attend or volunteer, but still want to be a part of it and contribute, we have a BIG NEED for funds to pay for an adequate SOUND SYSTEM. It’s, by far, our biggest expense. We’ve been able to cover all of our other costs, so far, but the sound system required for large rallies? Ouchie Mama!!!! Please help out if you can. Copy & paste:

  • Rage Against The Regime

As Trump’s Fascist Administration attacks our neighbors, healthcare, and freedom, Americans come together to demand regime change.
Come join 50501 Modesto as we take to the streets to fight back against the growing fascist regime threatening our democracy, due process, our bodies, and our communities as part of the 50501 movement’s “Rage Against the Regime” National Day of Action.
We will meet at 10th Street Plaza for a brief rally, then march to 5-points for a demonstration and community visibility.
We will not comply, we will not be silent, and we will not stand down.
From every street and screen, let resistance rise. Take your stand. Turn frustration into fuel. Let outrage become action.
We are peaceful. We are angry. We are organized. And we are just getting started.
Bring signs, friends, drums, other instruments, noisemakers.
Please note: A core principle behind our actions is a commitment to nonviolence in all we do. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.

  • Families First Human Banner

This is the 28th Human Banner to encourage people to express their concerns for what is happening in our country. This human banner is a part of the nationwide “Families First” Day, July 26th. “We the people,” who live in this country, have a right to have our needs respected whether for health care, food, or education. It is particularly important to act on what the Statue of Liberty has been saying since 1886 “Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, …”

  • GOOD TROUBLE LIVES ON: Monterey, CA

Good Trouble Lives On is a national day of nonviolent action to respond to the attacks posed on our civil and human rights by the Trump administration and to remind them that in America, the power lies with the people.

On July 17, the anniversary of Congressman John Lewis’s passing, we’re taking action across the country to defend our democracy and carry forward his legacy of Good Trouble.

From voter suppression bills like the SAVE Act to the criminalization of protest, the Trump administration is launching a full-scale attack on our civil and human rights. But we know the truth: in America, the power lies with the people, and we’re rising to prove it.

This is more than a protest; it’s a moral reckoning. A continuation of the movement Lewis helped lead, and a new front in the struggle for freedom.

Please note: A core principle behind our Good Trouble Lives On actions is a commitment to nonviolence in all we do. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
