  • I.C.E. Scream for human rights!!

Bring cash to help us raise funds for the aclu ma! We’re selling ice cream to benefit the aclu ma, we will have an art installation you can be a part of, and we will be having a coordinated cathartic scream to release our frustrations and voice our rage! ICE out of Plymouth NOW! ICE out of MA NOW!

Messaging: I.C.E. Scream for human rights ICE is lawless and dangerous. ICE has been employing paramilitary tactics that are authoritarian/fascist in nature, particularly in relation to its treatment of immigrant communities. Its methods reflect a broader trend of state-sanctioned violence and oppression. By collaborating with ICE, Sheriff McDonald is giving his stamp of approval to the current fascist regime in our country. Sheriff McDonald is the only sheriff in the state of Massachusetts that still has an agreement with ICE. We must put an end to this immediately, to show that Massachusetts is a strong progressive leader for the rest of our country that wants a better future for all.

Sheriff McDonald, end the IGSA with ICE now! Plymouth County Correctional Facility (PCCF) should not be helping ICE kidnap and disappear anyone! PCCF is the only facility in the state of Massachusetts with an ICE agreement. The agreement allows ICE to house migrants. The renewed 5 year contract signed last year increased the immigrant detention capacity by 35%. When Channel V Boston, WCVB, asked Sheriff McDonald in April 2025 if he worried about being complicit in sending people out of the country who shouldn’t be sent, he said, he doesn’t worry about it. https://www.wcvb.com/article/massachusetts-ice-holding-facility-plymouth-county/64445839 Kidnapping anyone, without due process, is not public safety! The only minority ruining the country are billionaires. https://www.pressreader.com/usa/the-boston-globe/20241121/281762749801818

  • Labor Day: Workers Over Billionaires (& Free DC!)

Labor Day, Mon., September 1, 2025
    10:30am-noon
Hyannis Airport Rotary (We will be at the Nantucket Sound area, if we need to spread out, we will go to CVS, and then the church and so on.)
    Peaceful National Protest
Donations: We will be collecting donations of postcard stamps and/or cash for postcard stamps to support our groups weekly postcarding efforts to get out the vote in critical elections nationwide.

    Messaging:
The billionaires continue to wage a cruel war on working people, with their cronies in the administration, ICE and law enforcement backing up their attacks. This Labor Day we will continue to stand strong, fighting for public schools over private profits, healthcare over hedge funds, shared prosperity over corporate politics.
Working people built this nation and we know how to take care of each other. We won’t back down—we will never stop fighting for our families and the rights and freedoms that ensure access to opportunity and a better life for all Americans. The billionaire’s time is up.
On September 1st we will continue the movement we launched together on May 1st, standing in solidarity with all our communities under attack and fighting for real wins for all our people.
In thousands of communities around the country we encourage you to take a stand with us on Labor Day. On the streets, outside the offices of the corporate criminals who are behind the attacks on our freedoms and at congressional offices. Together we will demand a world that works for all of us.
Labor Day could mark a significant escalation point. This date coincides with the end of the 30-day window for Federal Control of DC under the Home Rule Act.
To extend control beyond this period, the administration would require Congressional approval, which is likely to dominate the news cycle with negotiations and votes. However, there are strong indications that, if they cannot secure the votes, the administration may bypass Congress and escalate the situation to a national emerge

  • No cookies for fascists!

We will be holding a peaceful protest with a bake sale, outside of Plymouth County Correctional Facility. Bake sale proceeds will be going to lucemass.org

Stand in solidarity with us to speak up for those who have lost their voice.

  • Unite for Veterans, Unite for America

Unite for Veterans, Unite for America We remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. WE PROTEST TRUMP’S BETRAYAL OF VETERANS, including THE CUTS TO THE VA and NOT UPHOLDING THE CONSTITUTION.

Date: Sunday, May 25th Time: Noon- 1:00pm Location: Hyannis airport rotary (specifics on where to park and stand listed below) **Corruptions destroys, Community Builds: We will be collecting personal care items and/or nonperishable food items to be donated to the Cape Cod & Islands Veterans Outreach in Hyannis. **** As always, please bring signs, flags, drums, other instruments, chants, art, etc., as joy is resistance, art is resistance, community is resistance. [Joyful community resistance to fascism]

As with every protest, we also want to highlight the extreme unconstitutional practices of this administration, as this is not just about policies.

This is NOT business as usual in DC, this is NOT normal.

This republican administration has attempted to seize control over state election processes through executive orders and efforts to undermine civil rights legislation, as well as threatening the checks and balances established by the Constitution, such as disregarding court orders and altering federal regulations without proper authority. The administration is using its current power to help billionaires continue to profit while striping away the services that help the most needy.

We need to stand up for due process, free speech, upholding court rulings, and the separation of church and state. The Founding Fathers established the principles of due process, free speech, and the separation of church and state through the First Amendment and other parts of the Constitution. These concepts were designed to protect individual rights and limit government power. We have NO KINGS in America, yet Trump is acting like one. We, the people, must rise up, and show that the power of the people is greater than the people in power.

  • Protest to Support our LGBTQ+ Community

Protest to Support our LGBTQ+ Community

    Date: Sunday, June 22nd
    Time: 4:00PM-5:30PM
Location: Hyannis Airport Rotary (details about parking and where exactly to stand listed below.)
Please wear “pride spirit” to make a visual impact as a rainbow sea of love, acceptance, and appreciation for diversity and all the unique talents that makes our community so vibrant.
As always, please bring signs, flags, drums, other instruments, chants, art, etc., as joy is resistance, art is resistance, community is resistance. [Joyful community resistance to fascism]

In honor/celebration of pride month, we are protesting against Trump & his administration, specifically against the harm he has caused to the LGBTQ+ community. We are infuriated with his executive orders that ban gender affirming care for minors, that restrict trans rights, and that eliminate protections against discrimination for those in the LGBTQ+ community. We recognize the detrimental effect this has had on the well being of many individuals and the community as a whole. We stand in solidarity to say we will not put up with this.
We will not allow this administration’s attacks on the LGBTQ+ community to continue! #RESIST

    This a local Indivisible event!
Thursday May 1- International Workers Day/ Day without an immigrant (2006)
Time: 5:00PM – 6:00PM, Location: Hyannis Airport Rotary

Immigrants are important to our country for many reasons, including being vital members of our workforce. Workers across the country are rising up! **We are demanding a country that puts our families over their fortunes**—public schools over private profits, healthcare over hedge funds, housing over homelessness. Musk, Trump and their fellow profiteers want to erase labor rights, break our unions, and silence immigrant voices.

**May Day 2025 we are standing united.** We’re organizing for a world where every family has housing, healthcare, fair wages, union protection, and safety—regardless of race, zip code, or immigration status.

They’re defunding our schools, privatizing public services, attacking unions, and targeting immigrant families with fear and violence. This is a war on working people—and **we will not stand down**. Using the principles of nonviolence and peaceful protest, we will stand together and stand strong.
