RALLY FOR THE PEOPLE

EVERY SATURDAY NOON-1P.M.

LINCOLN SQUARE, GETTYSBURG

As part of a national day of protests on April 5th, this is the Harrisburg Pennsylvania event. Gather and guest speakers at 12 noon, with a March around the capitol building around 1pm.

Want to take a location action with an immediate positive impact while being part of a national event? A team of volunteers will be available to receive donations of unopened hygiene items as part of mutual aid to help Downtown Daily Bread, a Harrisburg based resource center for all hungry and homeless individuals.

50501 is a peaceful movement and this is a peaceful and inclusive event.

There will be speakers, music, chanting and a chance to be part of a nationwide protest that is being organized by 50501, Women’s March, and Hands Off.

We invite you to join us on the streets of Doylestown, PA. We are a swing town in a swing county in a swing state. Lifting up our voices here is critical. Let’s show our support for those most impacted by the illegal, destructive & unconstitutional actions of the first month of Trump’s (and Musk’s) new administration. This is not normal. It’s not OK.

We’ve all been calling Glenn Thompson’s office for weeks! We’ve been demanding answers on Trump’s unconstitutional actions.

What does Glenn do? He announced office hours with his STAFF. I believe I’ve spoken to his staff enough. Where is Glenn? Glenn swore and oath to the Constitution, not Donald Trump.

On the day the first concentration camp in Dachau opened, where the Never Again Monument stands. We replicate it for the power of symbolism, we organize, dressed as the monument, in black & white with “barbwire” (paint, jewelry, black clothing etc.) and we stand on strike until change happens! Resembling the monument state by state. Possibly in silence, possibly chosen speakers. Still my baby concept. Start with local murals & bracelets to spread the movement, raise funds.

Whether you’re coming to be inspired, to dance, to build with others, or to take direct action, your presence is part of the movement. Resistance is not just struggle—it’s also joy, community, and the power we create together.

What to Expect:

Dancing & Celebration – Move, dance, and embody resistance. This is a space of joy, movement, and collective energy.

Creative Expression – Attendees are encouraged to bring signs or dress in creative ways that capture the themes of resistance and revolution.

Art in Action – Art has always been a force for change. Experience visual and performance art centered on the themes of resistance and revolution—expressions of struggle, resilience, and liberation that inspire and ignite action.

Direct Action Opportunities – Engage in meaningful action through connecting with organizers and exploring on-the-ground initiatives.

Community Connection – Meet fellow changemakers, share your vision, and build relationships that extend beyond the event.
