  • Rally for Humanity

So many people are being harmed by the Trump administration’s policies. Let’s come together to shine a light on those who most need mercy … compassion … grace.

There are three opportunities to make your voices heard this weekend; choose the best time(s) for you.

    Friday, 4/18, 4:30 to 5:30pm
A Rush-Hour Call to Intercession at Entranceway Park (114 Wells Ave, Roanoke, Virginia). Bring signs demanding mercy, relief, and/or prayer for those who are feeling the impacts of Trump’s terrible actions. This is a secular activity. Everyone is welcome. A short march will follow.

    Saturday, 4/19, 11:00am to Noon
A Silent Sit-In/Pray-In at Entranceway Park (114 Wells Ave., Roanoke, Virginia). Wear Black in Solemn Solidarity for those who have been harmed by Trump’s actions. This is an interfaith activity. Everyone is welcome. There will be an opportunity to walk together to the Elmwood Park demonstration following this event.

Saturday, 4/19, 1:00pm Hands Off! Rally at Elmwood Park, South Lawn on the corner of Jefferson Street and Elm Avenue, Roanoke, Virginia

  • Hand Off! Roanoke

This is a grassroots rally event. We are not with Roanoke Indivisible. Several concerned citizens decided we wanted to keep the momentum going for Hands Off to the Trump administration and Project 25. Since no “Hands Off” rally was being advertised in Roanoke for April 19th, we decided to create one ourselves. Speakers to be announced soon.

The protest will be on the South Lawn of Elmwood Park on the corner of Jefferson Street and Elm Avenue at 1:00 pm. Please join us!
