Transgender Unity March on March 1st, 2025.
Santa Barbara, CA – February 2025 – On Saturday, March 1st, 2025, the Santa Barbara community will stand in solidarity with a nationwide movement advocating for the rights and dignity of transgender people. The Transgender Unity March will take place at De La Guerra Plaza at noon, 20 East De la Guerra inviting transgender individuals, allies, and community members to join in support of equality and justice.
Across the country, transgender people are facing increasing threats, including policies that restrict access to healthcare, limit mobility, and endanger lives. The Transgender Unity March is a direct response to this growing discrimination, offering a platform for voices to rise against these injustices and for the community to demand action.
During the rally, organizers will outline specific policy measures Santa Barbara can implement to protect and uplift its transgender and gender-diverse residents. Following the gathering at De La Guerra Plaza, attendees will march down State Street to make their message visible and powerful. After the march, participants are encouraged to reconvene for further discussion and community organizing efforts.
Attendees are welcome to bring signs and banners to amplify the rally’s message.

Follow Up with Tom McClintock – Demand Congress Defend the Constitution
On Monday 2/24 approximately 120 District 5 constituents met at Tom McClintock’s Modesto office. About twenty were seen my McClintock’s staff to voice their concerns. Given the fact that many constituents’ voices were not heard, AND the fact that McClintock then canceled the 5 constituent sessions scheduled for Tuesday 2/25… WE HAVE TO KEEP GOING and demand more of our representatives.
Same thing, same time. Monday March 3rd. We will attempt to speak with McClintock’s staff and then peacefully rally/protest. The American people are standing up against the unconstitutional actions by the Trump administration and DOGE. We are demanding that our elected representatives defend the constitution, defend human rights.
When we constituents asked for more transparency from our Congressman and for his support in these important matters his response was to stop listening. He can shut his doors, let the voicemail get full, cancel events, but none of that will silence us. Come have your voice heard.
No kings. No fascism. No oligarchy.
This is a 100% peaceful event. Additional details available when you register and an email with final info/instructions will go out 24-48 hours prior to the event. -

Tesla Takedown – Tesla Supercharger Station at Tanforan Mall
Join us at the Tesla Supercharger station at Tanforan Mall, 1150 Tanforan Way, San Bruno, on Sunday, March 16th, from 2 to 4 p.m., to protest Elon Musk and DOGE’s illegal and destructive rampage through our federal government. This is a non-violent action to raise awareness about the damage Musk is doing to our nation, and to encourage motorists and potential Tesla customers to not purchase Tesla vehicles, divest from Tesla stock, and to get Musk out as CEO.
Bring your signs. And, if you have them, bring your drums, cowbells, whistles, saxophones, tubas, tambourines and any other musical instruments to help add to the fun!
